About Maddi
Maddi Krulicki is a mixed Indigenous and settler graphic designer based in Chilliwack, BC, on Stó:lō Territory. A member of Snuneymuxw First Nation, with additional maternal ancestry from Sqwá First Nation, Maddi's creative practice is shaped by her cultural roots and family history in design.
Raised in a family of designers, Maddi learned artistic techniques and cultural knowledge from her mother, Bon Graham, a carrier of Contemporary Coast Salish design, and technical skills from her father, a specialist in apparel graphic design. These influences inform her approach to branding, apparel, merchandise, and custom artwork, bringing together contemporary design and cultural connection.
Beyond graphic design, Maddi is a performance artist and sound engineer working across music, storytelling, and immersive audio. She performs as READS, an alternative rock project combining original music with conceptual audiobook storytelling to create immersive, anthology-style experiences that exist between album, audiobook, and live performance.
Across visual and audio mediums, Maddi explores the connections between design, storytelling, and creative expression, balancing innovation with a deep respect for her roots.
